On Thursday we were learning to play ukuleles in music. The students had a great time playing along to the song Don't worry, be happy.

Music
It was great to see Fran today! Today we got a taste of music again. We are really looking forward to learning some new music skills with Fran for the rest of the year.

Ripper Rugby
Yesterday Cam from Kapiti/Horowhenua Rugby came to school to share some new ripper rugby skills with us. Here we are having lots of fun. Unfortunately it started raining, to we had to go into the hall.

Team Rima Awesome Students
Amber and Merepeka were our awesome students at the end of Term 2. They received their certificates at the school assembly for excellence in reading and Te Reo Māori. We were so proud of them!

The Boy at the Back of the Class
Today we finished our Chapter Chat book The Boy at the Back of the Class. It was a awesome book, so awesome that it made our teacher cry. It took us 6 weeks to read. Ahmet is the Boy at the Back of the Class. Ahmet makes some new friends and they become famous. We also learnt about pomegranates.
